Spongefork is a small software company dedicated to creating innovative tools for music and media manipulation. SF was created by programmer/musician Ryan Francesconi at CalArts between 1997 and 1999. The current SF 3.* has been totally rewritten after the demise of Mac OS 9 to take advantage of the OS X audio architecture and the JSyn synthesis api written by Phil Burk. Many thanks to Tom Erbe, Mark Trayle, and David Rosenboom for original inspiration as well as Phil's incredible work behind the scenes as we move forward.
